I can be wrong, but wasnt 126s that were made in Poland actually Polski Fiat 126p?

Indeed, but the agreement between FIAT and POLMOT from X.1971 provides that foreign currency expenditures for the purchase of machinery, equipment, parts and components of the car until they produce in Poland, will be repaid by FSM export.
