Its a bit difficult to understand from my Korean source, but I believe that all SsangYong products went through a short period of having Daewoo badges in the Korean market. Roughly between 1998 and 2000. The SsangYong Korando for example became badgeless because they couldnt incorporate a Daewoo grille into the design, but it apparently had a Daewoo badge on the steering wheel. Its not easy to find pictures of these cars, because Daewoo products were really unpopular in Korea at the time, and people even went so far as to replace the Daewoo badges with aftermarket SsangYong badges. | |
