![]() 2024-10-31 15:05 | apparently DB1 is not the official name, it's called 2-Litre Sports

![]() ![]() 2019-04-14 20:47 | CeilingHamster a crit The DB7 Zagato couldn't be sold in the USA so the USA got this instead. It was exclusive to the USA and utilised similar styling to the DB7 Zagato but without a new chassis. It instead used the chassis from the DB7 Volante. Oddly, as the car was only sold in warm US climates, it had no roof as-such, just a cover for the leather when the car was not in use. Such a feature would have been useless in soggy Britain (or elsewhere in Northern Europe). Thanks ;-)

![]() ![]() 2018-10-25 20:28 | CeilingHamster a crit For the model cars section, are we drawing a distinction between models and toys? I have a Hotwheels version of this (and many others) but I am not sure if I should add them or not. you can add it if it's Hotwheels

![]() ![]() 2018-01-04 18:58 | Should this car not be classified as some kind of race car? It's not road legal.
![]() ![]() 2018-01-04 12:27 | Mieguy a crit ahem *bump*? Ten were made, British reviewers even test drived the car (and made a semi-serious review out of it). As only one was sold, I would see it as a one-off production car (like Ferrari and Lamborghini also do sometimes).
![]() 2018-01-04 10:30 | ahem *bump*? Mieguy a crit I think this should be listed in Concept class. Only 10 were built for the Bond movie and this car is a prototype to the DB11. I know that one was sold but you can actually buy concept cars. Thats not making it a production model. ![]() -- Last edit: 2018-01-04 10:31:10

![]() ![]() 2016-03-27 18:03 | British sports cars have always used lots of parts from other cars until the mid-2000s (especially the small independant brands). Perhaps the whole country's automotive industry was infected by British Leyland's practices.

![]() ![]() 2014-12-30 21:57 | Rinspeed a crit No really important to put them on a same page since there are different engines and different names That hasn't stopped me from merging cars together before (American cars at least), but I'll stop being difficult.

![]() ![]() 2014-12-30 20:15 | Desscythe17 a crit Can someone point out to me why the Virage and the DB9 need seperate pages? They look extremely similar, and I can't find any differences between this car and the current DB9. I would also like to know what the exterior differences are between the V8 Vantage and V8 Vantage S. DB9 is the successor of the Virage with a new engine. ![]() ![]() 2011-10-22 23:18 | Desscythe17 a crit yeah right, it's impossible that this car has a top of 381 km/h... In real life they drive it 'only' 301 km/h. But on simulations and dyno tests he reach 381 km/h
