Interesting story about this concept. GM was looking to incorporate a Left-Hand Drive version of Holden's Commodore into the Buick lineup in the US, GM and Buick getting involved with the development of the VT Commodore.

This concept car was the result of it, after Holden was provided with the funds for necessary engineering changes. The project, called 'Project 127' was cancelled in early 1994, but Holden used what they learned from it, and not only did the styling of the XP2000 become the basis for the design of the VT, but also developed LHD versions of the VT for parts of mainland southeast Asia and the Middle East as the Chevrolet Lumina, and Brazil as the Chevrolet Omega.

And, in the long term, eventually led to the development of the Pontiac GTO, G8, Chevrolet SS and Caprice for the US market, LHD versions of the VZ Monaro, VE Commodore, VF Commodore, and WM/WN Caprice, respectively...and possibly playing a part in the creation of the Opel Omega based Cadillac Catera.

Not often does a concept car evolve into another concept car before eventually going into production. The Centieme is one of those rare examples. It's overall design was smoothed out and refined three years later as the Enclave concept, before itself went into production one year after that.

Concept predecessor to the 1992 Skylark redesign, though the production car's nose was a good bit different. The Skylark's 1996 facelift actually looked more like the Bolero in the front than the 92-95 models.

It’s my general policy to take cars out of the current car section when they are removed from the brand’s official website, not when their production halts.

It's been officially confirmed today that the North American market Regal will be discontinued after the 2020 model year, leaving Buick with a lineup of four crossover utility vehicles. The Regal will continue in China, though. That includes the GS and surprisingly decent selling TourX models.

Also, the LaCrosse still needs to be removed from current road cars, as that went out of production in North America back in February 15th of this year.

It's not a rebadged Opel at all. This uses the GM VSS-F Platform, while the Crossland X uses the PSA PF1 Platform. Completely unrelated.

Likely to end production sometime around 2020/2021, likely to be replaced with a new model shared with the likely next generation Chevrolet Malibu, may not see a Holden version, as the current Commodore that's related to the Regal/Insignia has halted production because of slow sales, along with other Chevrolet based Holden cars being discontinued in the next couple of years.

Switched Canada to NO, as it's been confirmed that only the Regal Sportback will be offered there, making the TourX a US exclusive model (no word on whether it or the Sportback will be offered in Mexico yet).

The latest Regal GS (to be sold by Opel as the Insignia GSi) packs a serious punch.

Powered by a 3.6 liter V6 with 310 horsepower, the LGX from the LaCrosse, it's got 20 more horsepower than a comparable Acura TLX A-Spec (290 hp from a 3.5 J35Y V6) and 4 more than a comparable Lexus IS350 F-Sport (306 hp from a 3.5 2GR-FSE V6). Nine-speed automatic, AWD, and Continuous Damping Control as standard.

Starting price will be #39,990, including destination charges.

The Buick Regal must be a favorite under US fans, as that car can be found relatively often at online car dealerships. Here are at least 10 different models:

I don't think Audi needs to be seperated, except for the L-models, there are no exclusive models. In the past there was the 4000 and such for the USA, but they were built in Germany I believe, so they don't have to be split up.
