![]() ![]() 2017-04-09 16:55 | Just some additional information: The Japanese market EXA and American market Pulsar NX are slightly different. The Japanese model was sold in 2 bodystyles: coup or canopy. The roof panels could be taken out, like a normal targa roof, but the other parts cannot be changed. The American model was sold in 1 bodystyle: coup only. It also had a targa roof, and it had the "Sportbak" option, which is a wagon part that could be attached to the rear to make the car into a 3-door wagon.

![]() ![]() 2017-02-15 10:48 | Desscythe17 wrote Just read an interesting article on a Japanese website about what cars to expect the coming year. Unlike Europe and North America, Japanese market cars are usually revealed right as they go on sale, so I took the liberty of sharing the news with you. - Around spring, there will be a new Suzuki Swift Sport with a 1.4 turbo; - Also around spring, the Suzuki Wagon R and its Mazda counterpart will get a full remodel, kicking some life into the kei car segment, where not much is happening now. - In autumn, Daihatsu will release the new Mira e:S, and Toyota and Subaru its sister cars. This should also have a good effect on competition in the kei car market. - Before the summer, a new Subaru XV will be released, possibly with PHEV technology. - Sometime this year, Honda will reintroduce the Civic sedan to the Japanese market. It will be the same sedan that is currently being sold internationally. P.S. I would love to list upcoming cars somewhere (to be released in the future, which I will add to the site), but I'm not sure what the best place for it is. I think i will work on it in the next days, but i don't know what name we could put for it. "Future cars"?

Here you can import any car if it is at least Euro 3 (so you can't import cars from USA or Japan) or be at least 30 year old . I think you can import almost any car to the Netherlands, as long as you are willing to pay enormous taxes to compensate for how "dirty" the car is in terms of emissions and how much fuel it consumes.

![]() 2017-02-07 17:48 | Here in the US, RHD is mainly for postal use only, though once retired from service, they can be sold to the public. On the reverse, in Japan, new cars that are LHD are perfectly legal. In fact, some manufacturers offer imported vehicles in LHD instead of RHD. Chevrolet and Cadillac are two of the best examples. In Japan, Chevrolet has three cars, and the only RHD one offered is the Captiva, imported from South Korea. The other two are the LHD Camaro and Corvette. The entire Cadillac lineup in Japan is LHD directly imported from North America. Other US market vehicles that aren't sold in Japan are easily imported and sold. www.goo-net-exchange.com/usedcars/ Here, on this site, you can find all sorts of cars for sale in Japan, including numerous US market cars and trucks. Ford F-150s, Toyota Tacomas, Honda Ridgelines, Toyota Siennas, etc. |
