2016-05-25 21:19 | I think there is a lot of confusion... the A4 4WD ran between 1995 and 1997, replaced by the A4 FWD starting from 1998 (to 2001) with the new FIA regulations which banned 4WDs. I saw that the two A4's pages are exactly the other way around. |

2013-10-02 12:38 | Made/designed by should be possible to do, for example, the Ford Focus (again). The page as we have it is perfectly suited for a Ford Europe page, which could be used as sold in Europe, and other countries outside Europe where it looks identical. The Ford NA page could have the Ford Focus page with different pictures (US-spec pictures there are plenty of on autowp.ru) and only the engines that are sold in North America. If the South American version has the same bumpers as the North American version (I don't know if it does), that page should say sold in: USA, Canada, Argentina, Brazil (if it is sold there). We then add the South American engines to the same page, and so we continue. It's not a huge amount of work, it's just splitting up existing information. With cars sold in China, well lots of them are made by a Chinese offspring of the brand (for example Dongfeng Citron), we then put the Citrons which are made in China on that page, and other Citrons sold in China that are the same as French Citrons can just be on the regular Citron page. If there are any small complications, I'm sure we can work it out together. (The thing is, we aren't duplicating pages because we want the same car for different countries, but because we want to seperate brands into divisions over the world). -- Last edit: 2013-10-02 12:40:24 |

For example for Ford, if you select USA, we could have Sold in USA and not Sold in USA. And if you select Germany same thing. But for that, the system of "made for" had to be done because a lot of cars had just only 1 or 2 countries. Perhaps this system can be done automatically by the country of the members. But i think priority is the system of translation because it could let some new members arrive in the site. |

The cars are in alphabetical order, but apart from that, it's a complete mess. Could we order them by bodystyle? Or could we make so that you can choose not only the period (1980-1989) but also specific years (1983)? That way, when you want to see which cars Chevrolet for example sold in 1983, you directly see it instead of having to look around which models were and which weren't sold in 1983. |
