JFK 2015-09-17 00:12 | Wow, Stratopolonez looks cool! Well Ladas and FSO/Polski Fiat 125p were also Italian, because Italians were quite big communists (James May said that at his Top Gear: Cars for the people special), but this have Chevrolet engine, that is from most "western" country - USA in east bloc. Even some british cars were sold in Czechoslovakia, but not american, because it was very western product. I read a while ago that John Turner bought this car in UK, when Skoda started to import it there. |
fck 2015-09-16 22:57 | JFK wrote Because this car would be impossibru to made in eastern bloc. Why not? It was just a one-off, like polish 'Stratopolonez' - webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=1182 |
JFK 2015-09-16 22:31 | Well, V8 5.0 liter american motor powered Skoda is a thing you dont see every day. Shouldnt it be Origin UK or CZ - Made for UK? Because this car would be impossibru to made in eastern bloc. |
