The DB7 Zagato couldn't be sold in the USA so the USA got this instead. It was exclusive to the USA and utilised similar styling to the DB7 Zagato but without a new chassis. It instead used the chassis from the DB7 Volante.
Oddly, as the car was only sold in warm US climates, it had no roof as-such, just a cover for the leather when the car was not in use. Such a feature would have been useless in soggy Britain (or elsewhere in Northern Europe).
