The production version of this car will make its debut in Summer 2018 and will look a lot like the concept shown in Tokyo.

Toyota has decided to make the current Crown line-up (Athlete, Majesta and Royal) into one car again. The new Crown will take a more sporty appearance, like the Crown Athlete, as the average age of a Crown driver is still quite high (50+).
The Majesta, which is slightly bigger and more luxurious than the other models, has become redundant because of the Lexus LS.
