By the way, Rinspeed, when are you going to replace the Toyota FT-86 Concept with some other car as the website mascot? The picture looks a bit low-quality, and it would be refreshing to see a different kind of car maybe once a year.

good idea but i'm not a specialist for that ;)

As you can see in the pictures, it's a passenger vehicle, not a cargo van.
A Citroën Berlingo would be the same kind of vehicle.

Quirky little car, with lots of typical Japanese Kei charm. Love the look of it.

the car has been imported a lot, and many left-hand driven conversions were done. So the car was probably imported to the UK, and then to the Netherlands.

So basically, a kei-sized '90s equivalent to the cooperation between Toyota and Subaru that resulted in the BRZ and GT 86/86/FR-S?

pretty much :) But the Japanese do it all the time, especially with minivans.

Actually it was a cooperation between Mazda and Suzuki. The engine is also from Suzuki. So it isn't a clone.

I'm not saying that you should trust wikipedia blindly, but even they say that the first generation Swift was sold as Khyber in Pakistan, and the 2nd generation is still being produced and sold there as the Cultus. The 3rd generation (which I put up) has been produced there, but I don'tknow more than that.

Is it possible to make a seperate class for Kei Cars? It's hard to put them under coupe or hatchback, because they really aren't those kind of cars, and they aren't supermini cars either.
