2022-06-18 01:21 | Pretty sweet way to make a nice looking, retro-themed kei car look even better. Apparently, Suzuki designed the LC to resemble the classic Fronte 360 of the late 60's.
Desscythe17 2020-11-13 10:03 | Pics are unsuitable for WCS, but revealed front can be seen here: carview.yahoo.co.jp/news/detail/594f694e0f16c943129c94c8ccf5551b59f1715d/
Desscythe17 2020-09-07 21:02 | After the second generation Swift debuted in late 2004, the first generation Swift was sold alongside it until 2006 as the Swift SE-Z in a single trim level.
Desscythe17 2020-09-05 16:17 | Rinspeed wrote Some of them are just revealed (so not already in sale) I can at least add them to upcoming cars as far as they haven’t been added yet, but I’d prefer not to complete the cars if someone else can do them.
Rinspeed 2020-09-05 14:13 | Just a thing, the work for IGCD is very long and i want to work for the new cars for WCS but i don't have enough time. I have to finish IGCD. After IGCD i think i will do a pause before doing the new WCS. But at this time there is a cumulation of new cars in Europe to do that i can't. If someone want to do some, he can: - Skoda Octavia Combi - Cupra/Seat Ateca (refreshed) - Fiat Panda + 4x4 + Cross -> Update of the engines (Hybrid, no more diesel...) - Suzuki Vitara -> Update of the engines (Hybrid) - Honda Jazz - Ferrari SF90 Stradale - Citroën Ami - Porsche Panamera (refreshed) - Ferrari Roma - Morgan Plus 4 - Mercedes-Benz S-Klasse - Peugeot 3008/5008 (refreshed) - Rolls-Royce Ghost Some of them are just revealed (so not already in sale)
Desscythe17 2020-09-03 22:56 | I didn't list the pre-facelift (88-90) Alto Works because it was sold as a commercial vehicle.

Desscythe17 2020-09-02 22:04 | Unlike the pre-facelift version of this car, which had sliding doors on both sides, the post-facelift version has a sliding door on the right and 2 regular doors on the left. left side: bit.ly/2Z4KM27 right side: bit.ly/2DrFm9L -- Last edit: 2020-09-03 20:00:17

Desscythe17 2020-09-01 21:57 | Technically sold since 1988, but from 1988-1989 it was only available in commercial specification. -- Last edit: 2020-09-01 21:57:22
Desscythe17 2020-08-28 22:05 | When in 1998 the Cultus Crescent was facelifted and renamed Cultus, this old Cultus became the Cultus M to differentiate the two.
Desscythe17 2020-08-28 15:35 | Minor difference between 1.0 and 1.3 models: The 1.0 did not have a grille. I'm not going to make separate pages for these, but some of the models I add will probably have no grille for that reason. -- Last edit: 2020-08-28 15:35:58
Desscythe17 2020-08-26 12:19 | Initially named Wagon R+ (chassis code MA03), it was renamed Wagon R Solio in 2000. -- Last edit: 2020-08-26 12:29:30
Desscythe17 2020-08-25 00:20 | After the smaller 4th generation Escudo was introduced in 2015, this car was sold for 2 more years as "Escudo 2.4".
Desscythe17 2020-08-24 17:22 | Renamed to just Escudo in 1996.
Desscythe17 2020-08-24 12:04 | Launched in 1998 as Jimny Wide, but then renamed back to Jimny Sierra in 2002.
Lancia 2020-03-22 19:52 | If you know what's hustler is, the naming will sound uh... Interesting....
Desscythe17 2019-10-24 13:01 | I edited some of the cars presented at Tokyo Auto Show this spring so they don't appear on the same page as cars presented at the Tokyo Motor Show that is happening at the moment.

Desscythe17 2018-07-05 08:37 | It looks like a small Merc G-Class kinda. I wonder if Mansory will make tasteless bodykits for it?
Desscythe17 2017-11-01 12:03 | carcrasher88 wrote That is true, but when you look at how many similarly classified vehicles Japanese manufacturers have in their lineups, including models shared between manufacturers (which is all of them except Honda), it's not really that hard to see them co-exist. Also, if Jeep can sell the Renegade, Compass, and Cherokee, all with overall dimensions that aren't actually that far apart from each other, Suzuki can have both this and the Ignis. I guess you are right, the Japanese market is quite unique in that sense. As for the Jeeps, there is some differences that work for them. The Renegade is a subcompact and operates in a different segment, whereas the Compass is more of a city car and the Cherokee more off-road capable with an optional V6.

Desscythe17 2017-10-29 23:55 | carcrasher88 wrote 1 liter powered subcompact CUV apparently intended to slot above both the Hustler, which most of it's design is based on, and the upcoming next-gen Jimny, and below the Escudo. While nearly all of the XBee is inspired by the smaller Hustler, the split 'floating roof' look of the rear is more like that of the latest Swift. I really like it, but I do feel like it is a direct competitor to Suzuki's own Ignis.

2017-08-27 21:06 | Retro design pretty much sums it up. Here's what it will apparently look like: www.motor1.com/news/177749/2018-suzuki-jimny-leaked/ Apparently multiple forms of two-tone paint will be offered, like the grille, windshield surround, roof, fender flares, and protruding pieces on the front bumper, all able to be ordered in various combinations.
Desscythe17 2017-08-24 21:17 | JFK wrote Another classic bites the dust. About time if you ask me. But knowing Suzuki, it will have the capabilities of the old one. That's why they kept it around after all. It will probably have a retro design, similar to the Alto, looking at the lights.

Desscythe17 2017-02-02 15:31 | Sambo0909 wrote It might just be me, but I think the previous design looks much nicer. Suzuki certainly improved the interior, though! I agree. This new Wagon R is supposed to be retro and mimic the design of the first generation, but I don't think it pulls it off very well. The current Alto that also has a retro design does it a lot better.

Desscythe17 2016-04-19 08:21 | carcrasher88 wrote Hmm...this generation stuck around 6 years, on par with the first two generations of MR Wagon. I assume this means it's on the verge of a redesign, with it's badge engineered Nissan twin sticking around a little longer to keep space filled in the Nissan lineup? It's not common in Japan to discontinue a car before replacing it, so I think the MR Wagon is just being dropped. Both the Alto and Spacia are doing very well, so there is probably no reason for the MR to be around anymore.

2015-06-15 02:53 | Suzuki's website also lists not only the Solio and Bandit, but two more variations of the Solio, both of which are probably special editions: G-Limited and Black & White II. www.suzuki.co.jp/car/solio_g_limited/ www.suzuki.co.jp/car/solio_bw2/ I assume these could be added to the Limited Edition/Special Editon section?

2015-06-15 02:46 | I have a question: Would the differences visible in the Hustler J Style (www.suzuki.co.jp/car/hustler_j_style/) be enough for it's own listing, or would it be more sensible to list it as a special edition version? I assume that since the only major difference being the H U S T L E R badging on the front, I assume it would be the latter.
