2015-09-23 22:17 | Rinspeed a écrit i had another idea. A system of election vote: For example each week (or less?) there is a question and a list of 10 cars (that was post by a member before): For example: Best Concept in Frankfurt? Most Iconic Car in Dakar? Most Beautiful Super Mini cars? Most ugly car? Best James Bond cars? etc Each member can vote by classing 1 to 10 each cars and each car have (as Eurovision) 12pts,10,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1. And at the end of the week the results are revealed. What do you think of that? Good idea. But we could classify with FIA's Scoring System: 25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1

Mark0 2015-09-23 21:08 | Ford78 a écrit Or maybe, we could do an top 10 of each month of the year... For example: Portugal Janaury 1996... Here in Serbian we don't have numbers for one year let alone for every month

Rinspeed 2015-09-23 20:55 | Desscythe17 a écrit I get your idea, but I'm not sure if we can realize it. For example, in the Netherlands, people buy way more second-hand cars than new cars, but people like you and me can't access that data. So it's extremely difficult to make a top 10 for every year for as many countries as possible. yes we hadn't the data for that
Desscythe17 2015-09-23 20:49 | JFK a écrit Like that: Number one in CZ in 2008 is Skoda Felicia with registered 405 927 cars, and average age of 11.35 years; second is Fabia with blah blah blah... In eastern countries cars are much older, so if you want to imagine typical eastern road, Top 10 sold cars in that year is irrelevant. I saw the brand new Fabia once, although it is one of the best selling new car here, but streets are here flooded with rusted out Felicias. Top 10 table is pretty much suitable for this kind of entries. Did you understood it now? I get your idea, but I'm not sure if we can realize it. Rinspeed 2015-09-23 20:30 | JFK a écrit The pic is okay. I have got an idea: We can have similar page as Top 10, but with most cars registered in the state in specific year. It could be cool to see which state have newest cars in average and which got oldest. I think that CZ have more or less 15 years old cars in average (and I dunno why is EU so bothered about this). i don't understand your idea.

Desscythe17 2015-08-20 17:32 | sajmon14 a écrit is clipper the correct name? I think it's the name used only in France. Maybe it should be left without additional name, just Escort? Apparently it was called Turnier is Germany, Estate in the UK, and Clipper in some other countries. Remarkable is that the Clipper debuted in 1990, and then the new Escort wagon which appeared in 1992 was called Wagon. -- Last edit: 2015-08-20 21:05:48

Desscythe17 2014-10-22 19:04 | Rinspeed a écrit Really good! Just a thing can you modify to say that for concept cars and race cars, informations for engines are more hard to search so it could have less information than normal cars (some concept have no engine info). Also for very old cars (ex < 1970), informations aren't easy to have for engines so same. Thanks! It should be updated now. You could place a link in the Help/FAQ section.

Rinspeed 2014-10-22 09:34 | Desscythe17 a écrit I'm sure more people will discover the site in the future. Desscythe17 2014-05-07 13:58 | Mieguy a écrit i noticed that you have added the State for a production place in venezuela. So i am curious if this is now for every production country. If yes, Cologne is in North Rhine-Westphalia and Dagenham is in the state of Greater London. I've been adding states to production places for a very long time. I don't think other members do it though. Also, states and such are more important in North/South America since there are many cities there with the same name. I'm not sure about Japan, but I've added their states just to be safe. In Europe, I can't really think of two cities with the same name straight away. |
