![]() ![]() 2022-07-16 22:33 | carcrasher88 a crit Looks SO much better without the additional two-tone colors. Also really wish they kept the proper Crown emblems, instead of replacing them with regular Toyota emblems. Takes away from the image of the Crown. The Crown has no brand recognition in North America, so it makes sense they just fit Toyota emblems. Also, different emblems might evoke the idea that the Crown is a premium/luxury Toyota, but they don't want it to get in the way of Lexus.

![]() ![]() 2020-05-18 19:30 | I've added the SE as trim difference, since it's only a visual change. I will do the same for older Siennas in the future.
![]() ![]() 2020-04-09 07:59 | Maki a crit This page really needs cleanup, as it includes information for the North American, Japanese, European and Australian models, despite it supposedly being only for the North American-spec Celica Supra. In addition to this, the "successor" here is the JDM A70 Supra rather than the US-spec model (which hasn't been added to this site yet), so I believe that should be removed as well. Youre right, this page was added very long ago, and doesnt really fit with the way we do things on WCS now. Except for Subaru, Suzuki and Toyota, the Japanese brands are mostly complete. I am planning to do the other brands when I have the specifications, but that could take years. I will remove all info on this car that isnt relevant for the American market, and then you are welcome to edit and finish it.

![]() ![]() 2020-01-28 09:34 | Maki a crit Toyota's American division was founded in 1957 and their headquarters are in Plano, Texas. I'd add that, if it wasn't for the fact that only admins can edit brands. Oh, and is it okay if I add discontinued models? I think Desscythe17 is the only one working on this and from what I've seen, he's only added recent models. Feel free to add discontinued models, I dont expect to have their specs any time soon. Ill add the manufacturer info of both Japanese and American divisions, to keep them in line with other brands. -- Last edit: 2020-01-28 09:57:02

![]() ![]() 2019-03-31 11:55 | Maki a crit Looks like there won't be a 2019 version of the Yaris. www.autoblog.com/2019/01/24/toyota-yaris-liftback-discontinued/ Correct, however we won't discontinue it on the website since the car is still for sale on the official Toyota website.

![]() ![]() 2018-12-29 23:53 | Maki, just some small comment. For motor type, you put DOHC, but it should say 4 cyl or V6 instead. You don't have to mention I4 in the engine name, but V6 can stay. ![]() ![]() 2018-11-28 23:32 | The Japanese Prius has actually had this AWD-e system for 3 years already, so it was only a matter of time until they started introducing it elsewhere.
![]() 2018-11-28 23:25 | For the first time in the US market, the Corolla sedan will be offered in a Hybrid variant. Wouldn't be surprised if a hatchback one follows, effectively replacing the Prius c.
![]() 2018-11-28 23:18 | First production Prius to offer all wheel drive, with a new AWD-e system that is expected to have a 52 city/48 highway/50 combined fuel economy rating, because AWD-e is, as the nomenclature indicates, is electric, not gasoline powered. That's only a 2 mpg drop compared to most FWD Prius models (other than the L Eco, which is expected to be rated at 58/53/56), which isn't a lot for an AWD model, most AWD options drop fuel economy a good bit more than that, and it's still a 50 MPG car with the system. It's also a bit better looking, though still not as sleek as the Prius Prime.
![]() ![]() 2018-05-17 20:39 | Mark0 a crit Grille is too small I think Toyota had to stop here because of pedestrian safety. It looks like it will eat the road. And people say Peugeot grilles looked terrible... -- Last edit: 2018-05-17 20:40:09

![]() 2017-11-05 20:41 | Isn't this generation 10 years old? You'd think Toyota would have redesigned it by now. I admit this refresh looks nice up front, but it can't really hide the age of the truck.
![]() ![]() 2017-09-03 12:34 | This car couldn't be more obsolete. The engines are outdated, with the new Camry offering both much more powerful and economic options. The Camry and Avalon also have the same wheelbase now, so I don't think this is any more spacious.
![]() 2016-11-15 18:39 | I had the 116hp one, it was very fun. Love this old thing!
![]() 2016-09-12 00:18 | Sorry to interrupt but to clear things up: Adding Prototype without engine is okay, production model needs engine. But you still have to search for engine data of prototypes. You cant add it without engines if the engine data of the prototype was made public.

![]() ![]() 2016-09-10 15:34 | I think merging Chicago, New York and LA is fine. Detroit should probably be on its own though. The amount of concepts varies every year. -- Last edit: 2016-09-10 15:36:10
![]() 2016-09-10 11:41 | Next year i will put concept cars of Detroit and New York together, because both exhibitions dont have so many concepts, but putting them together makes the field more competitive. Is that okay guys?

![]() ![]() 2016-01-18 23:01 | carcrasher88 a crit You know how they say if a car doesn't look that good in pictures, it probably looks better in person? Well, I've been seeing in person pictures of it online...and it actually looks WORSE in person. Really makes you wonder what the heck Toyota was thinking when they greenlit this for production, because it looks horrendous. It's funny you say that, because I saw it in person in Frankfurt, and I have to say I like its looks. Even though I'm not sure whether I think it looks good or weird, I think it's a major improvement over the extremely boring previous Prius.

![]() ![]() 2015-03-29 10:59 | carcrasher88 a crit I honestly think the Limited model shown in the pictures should have it's own separate page from the regular 4Runner. They have very different bumpers, which makes me think there's enough of a cosmetic difference to warrant separation of the Limited model from the SR5 and Trail Edition models. images.thecarconnection.com/hug/2014-toyota-4runner_100426115_h.jpg I'll look into it. I found it kind of strange that a car with such an off-road reputation had so much chrome by default.
