    2023-03-10 13:46    		Originally a (successful) manufacturer of Giant brand tricycles, the Aichi Machine Industry failed to produce a competitive four-wheeled vehicle and left the market in 1971.

    They still exist today as a parts manufacturer and are owned by Nissan. As an example, they produce the transmission of the R35 GT-R.
