As a part of their global restructuring and cost-cutting, Nissan has announced that the Datsun brand will be discontinued after 2020.

Now that Nissan has presented its big future plans, it's clear that the Datsun brand will not be discontinued. It will only be withdrawn from the Russian market, meaning the on-DO and mi-DO will no longer be sold after 2020.

So, pulled from Russia and no longer built in Indonesia. I take it that perhaps production of Indonesian models, if they're not discontinued, may shift to India, then?

I mean, most other Datsuns are currently built in both India and Indonesia, other than the Cross, which is Indonesian built only.
