Serves them right, in the Netherlands for example, the amount of taxes you have to pay for your car is very dependent of how ecofriendly the car is. Yes they have a huge problem right now. Serves them right, in the Netherlands for example, the amount of taxes you have to pay for your car is very dependent of how ecofriendly the car is. Now Volkswagen has been the bestselling car manufacturer in the Netherlands since 2005. As Dutch people are generally cheapskates, I wonder if VW would have done so well if they hadn't cheated.
