Since the 2012 model year, the engines can run on E85 ethanol fuel. I checked the info for the manual on some other site, where it said 164 kW (223hp), but Wikipedia says 162 kW so I will change it to that. From what I've understood, the Regal was only available with automatic gearbox in the first year.
The 2.4 engine is also not available without eAssist from the 2013 model year.
