Model year and year of sale aren't the same thing, and the cars should have the year of sale as their first year.

About this topic years topic i wanted to ask what year of car are in car driver's license.
Here in Serbia the year stand for production of car no year of sale. My father friend bought 2012 Boss 302, but by chassis number car is made in 2010. So he have Boss 302 made in 2010 instead of 2011 or 2012. And after that if he ever try to sale car it must say 2010 even if this car doesn't exist.
What is case in other countries?

Here in Czech republic we apparently made car years up. Otherwise I cant explain how you can buy 2001 Renault that was according to VIN code produced in 2002.

That is because of the United States modelyear system. Modelyear 2016 started in August 2015, and ends in July 2016, but sometimes there are exceptions. So the Mustang was maybe produced in July 2010 and went for sale in August 2011 or something weird like that.

In the Netherlands, a 2005 car was produced in 2005. That's it.

It has superior torque to the petrol V8, so I guess it's better for towing horses? Or maybe it's for the rich people who prefer to pollute the environment even more.

I am not a millionaire, but fuel consumption for my 1978 Range Rover doesn't consume much money even if it's 14l/100km.
If I had a million, my wallet won't notice 12.8 for 6.0 W12 version.
