Sales of the Mitsubishi eK and Nissan Dayz are currently completely shut down due to an emissions scandal. I will make the cars "Since 2014/2015" again when they reappear on the official websites.

With Nissan's purchase of a 34% stake in Mitsubishi, that may take a while, as I wouldn't surprised that Nissan may discontinue Mitsubishi's kei car engines altogether and develop an all new engine to replace them, and maybe develop new kei cars altogether.

Also, with this purchase of said stake, perhaps it could mean a brighter future for Mitsubishi in the US market, with new engines and vehicles for the manufacturer?

I agree, even though it is a hard time for Mitsubishi, in the long run Nissan might save the company.
