Maybe that's because they don't run full championship.

I think this is the case, but it's so stupid. Why would guest driver spend their money and time and risk to crash their cars, only not to get awarded with points.

I don't know. And I don't think these drivers are using different rules (tyres, for example). Maybe that's because they don't run full championship.
