In 2019, Portugal Touring Car Championship was renamed to Campeonato Open de Velocidade de Portugal. It featured TCR Classes.
Only two drivers have raced in the championship and Pedro Marques finished 2nd, although that his results weren't counted to final standings, as he did not attend a minimum of three rounds. Source- 2020.www.fpak.pt/sites/default/files/ficheiros/2019-11/COVP%20-%20TCR%20-%202019.pdf |

UAE Touring Car Championship is run since 2008/09, however, this season was the first time that TCR Series was ran in UAE.
This season started in 26th October 2018 and ended in 22nd March 2019, hence why it is the 2019 UAE Touring Car Season. There is no Overall Championship in UAE Touring Car Championship, the major class is Class 1. However, because this championship is also part of TCR Series, I decided to add this TCR Championship too. The first season of Campeonato Nacional Velocidade de Turismos was held in 2015. The first 3 rounds were cancelled due to lack of entries, therefore, Algarve and Estoril were only two races of that season. And the champion is Francisco Mora, the only driver to contest the race.
