Prototype for the Mahindra Verito, right? As Dacia does not sell cars in India.

It was meant to be sold under Renault brand. It surely look like Mahindra used this as a base for Verito.

Prototype of Dacia for Indian market. Cars there must be 4 meters long and with maximal displacement 1.2 petrol or 1.5 diesel engines to get some dicsount from goverment.

No Extases survived.
It is a pity, I mean, it is not something awesome looking, handling or expensive, but just for a sake of owning a rare car I would buy Extase in its devastated state before it met crusher.

Is the front the only difference between this and the standard Mini? I found that the Clubman came in multiple bodystyles (most notably the squarer wagon with the double doors at the rear), but I didn't know this was also called the Clubman.

As far as I know front end is the only difference in exterior (the car was meant to replace original Mini) . Before I knew this car was a thing, I thought also that Clubman = Wagon. Apparently this was a sedan, wagon and van (van is aussie´s thing, and it was not based on the generation that was on sale, but rather Mk1 Mini with Clubman/1275GT front)

My brother is expert in Classic Mini's. If you need some help i will call him :)

Everything should be ok (I got the info from automobile catalog EDIT - that is a website, not magazine), but it seems kinda odd to me that there was no 1976-1980 1.1 automatic variant, only the 1.0 (which wasnt in these years as manual), also it is weird that 1969-1972 automatic variant have different power. If your brother will be not bothered, could he please check these two out?

Personally I think a flop is all about the number of sales (or reputation damage), but the cars you named still sold rather well.

Yugo, Reliant and Covair were schoolbook examples of reputation damage.

Well it might actually be the biggest automotive flop of all time.

It is about the point of view:
Chevrolet Covair - 1,835,170 cars sold, but its name is damaged by some scribbler.

Yugo GV - Lets buy cheapest car on a market, then ignore all service check-ups and blame importer and manufacturer for making a car that is unreliable - every american idea from 80s onwards. With 141,651 cars sold it isnt bad, but Yugo is kinda a flop too.

1962 Dodge: They werent sold that bad, but the last minute redesign that didnt went too well stopped Dodge from any inovative design onwards.

Reliant Regal/Robin/Rialto: They look odd and everybody is making fun of it, but they were good selling cars.

Summary: The Edsel is the best thing in the world + Frank Sinatra and some others perform.

Sorry, too busy to read your summary, but I just had to tell you about a great new deal on the ´58 Edsel.

Edsel is for sure the car company with biggest ratio of useless propagation stuff per cars sold in total.

I didnt watch much of it :)

I wouldn't say frightening, but the difference would definitely be noticable. I remember after I got my driver's license (I had lessons in a 2010 Polo 1.2 Diesel with 75hp) I got to drive my father's car, a 2003 Honda Accord 2.4 with 190hp. That car was a lot heavier than the Polo, but it was so difficult in the beginning to not launch forward when pressing the gas pedal. It felt like 190hp was like 300hp.

I got that experience vice versa. We went to shopping trip to Poland two years ago or so, and alternator in car broke down, that forced belt to split in half.... just before country borders (literally 10 meters), tow truck rescured us (hopefully for in-country tows under certain distance it was free, so we were very lucky), and as a replacement vehicle from Renault dealership we got Thalia.

Laguna - 1.6, 107hp, roughly 1350 kg
Thalia - 1.2, 75hp, roughly 1000 kg or less
My dad usually drive as a complete lunatic, but amount of force that pushed me back with every acceleration was huge. Laguna with hammer down dont act like this, you dont feel much acceleration in it.

Yes that is true, but if you don't consider the sport model, it still is the most powerful, which I think is quite a feat. 89hp for a diesel engine in 1989 is also quite formidable I think.

From that point of view yeah. I dont remember much of this car (7,5 years old when it was sold), but after riding 1st gen Thalia with basic 1.2 engine that had similar amount of power and weight like our 1.4 Chamade, it must be frightnening to ride Chamade with more horsepower than basic 60.

Am I the only one who is surprised that the most powerful engine on this late eighties car is a diesel engine?

See "other models", the most powerful one has its separate page.

Is it just me or anyone else is having issues with WCS recently? Vertical gaps between collumns in car/engines are gone (EDIT very easy to missfill different collumn), lot of bars in "Made for:" are missing...
And as a bonus, I cant load up WCS nor IGCD page quite often, when every other pages work just fine.
