Are we supposed to literally translate colors? In the Netherlands, we use either the English names or French/Spanish/German/etc. names if the company uses their local market names.

No
I used for french the real name given by the make.
Example: For Aston Martin and Subaru, we use English Names in France
For others, there is the French versions. For the americans cars, i can see it generally in Canada for french.

Body + roof, i think it's better, we can see the multiple combinaisons;
Ford78, please don't translate french version of colors, i search them myself, and you did some wrong.

Wrong translations for example?

What about cars like the Mini Cooper? Body + roof colors, or just body?
