For 1987, when the Parisienne sedan was discontinued, this was renamed simply the Pontiac Safari.

With the B-body Catalina and Bonneville being discontinued in 1981, Pontiac missed a lot of potential full-size car sales, with long-time customers buying at other brands.
Pontiac realized they needed a full-size car for the time being, and decided to import the Canadian-built Parisienne to the United States. The Parisienne looked like a Pontiac, but was actually built on Chevrolet underpinnings, making it a lot cheaper than bringing back the discontinued Bonneville. |

This car was essentially a slightly reworked LeMans. It received the Bonneville name from the bigger B-body car that was discontinued.
The A-body platform this car was based on was renamed the G-body, since a new FWD A-body was introduced (underpinning the Pontiac 6000). This Bonneville was also named "Bonneville Model G" for a few years because of this. This car was called Grand LeMans for 1982 and 1983 in Canada, after which it was renamed Bonneville, marking the debut of that name in Canada. -- Last edit: 2019-07-02 19:28:25 |

Since these are all based on old Renaults should we not put the cars they are based on under 'similar cars' or 'other body styles'? Since they are not officially made by Renault, I would say no. Otherwise, we would have to put every single customized or tuned car in that category. |

RRG for Renault Retail Group made contest for Renault garage in France in 2018 and in Europe in 2019. They can take an old car and transform it with 2000 euros. So the cars were made by mechanics from Renault garages everywhere? |

I will skip the 73 wagon for now as I can't find a front picture. The engines will be kept on this page for now.

Prior to MY 1975, the Pontiac Astre was a Canada exclusive.

Should this not just be listed as a special edition of the regular LFA? Agreed. |

Technically the Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator are already being sold, but I don't have the specifications to finish their pages yet since the manufacturer websites are horrible.

No rear pic for this car?

Who added model? That looks like it's previous gen Coupe C-Class, not this one. webcarstory.com/voiture.php?id=9982 I think this is correct. I deleted the model car for now, whoever uploaded it can post it on the correct page since you already provided the link. |

Became a trim level of the LeMans for MY 1972.

Was the Nismo special edition just a paint job or did it improve performance? Just visual. |

The three full-sized Pontiacs for 1970 were the Catalina, Executive and Bonneville.
Like Chevrolet, Pontiac made up for not having a bigger C-Platform car by having more B-Platform cars. Unlike Chevrolet, the Pontiacs rode on bigger wheelbases. Chevrolets all had a 302cm wheelbase, the Catalina a 310cm wheelbase, and the Executive and Bonneville a 318cm wheelbase. Visually, the Pontiacs didn't differ much, which is why I combined the Executive and Bonneville into one page. -- Last edit: 2019-05-11 16:07:48 |

These were not sold in the UK but I'm pretty sure GM had a rebadged version on sale here. I'm pretty sure it was sold throughout Europe as Suzuki Swift. Not sure about any GM brands. |

Toyota announced today that Mark X production will come to an end in December. Which begs the question...what is the reason for it's discontinuation? Was the Crown RS (formerly Crown Athlete) stealing sales away from the Mark X? Will the Mark X's discontinuation be the saving grace for the (somewhat) related Lexus GS (Mark X being on the N platform, GS being on the New N platform), which was previously rumored to be on the chopping block? Could this also mean that there could now be room within the TNGA-N platform for a new generation of GS, since there won't be a corresponding Mark X to compete with? I think both the Mark X and GS are disappearing, since the traditional sedan market is shrinking. The GS is the same size as the previous Crown, and both are bigger than the Mark X, so I don't think those have anything to do with each other. |

Looks like there won't be a 2019 version of the Yaris. www.autoblog.com/2019/01/24/toyota-yaris-liftback-discontinued/ Correct, however we won't discontinue it on the website since the car is still for sale on the official Toyota website. |

Wow, these look great! I assume this and the eK are the first true collaborative products since Mitsubishi became part of the alliance with Renault and Nissan, right? Love how they gave each brand their own visual identity, which is rather rare in the kei car market, where most rebrandings are simple rebadges, while here the Dayz looks like a Nissan, and the eK looks like a Mitsubishi without one being confused for the other. Technically I guess they are, but the Otti/Dayz has always been a rebadged Mitsubishi eK, ever since its first generation. I doubt this one is any more Nissan than the previous ones. The Nissan depicted here is the Highway Star version, which looks a bit more glamorous. The regular Dayz looks exactly like the eK Wagon. The eK, on the other hand, has a more "cool" looking version, the eK X: i.wheelsage.org/pictures/m/mitsubishi/ek_x/mitsubishi_ek_x.jpeg As you can see, this is inspired by the recent Delica D:5 facelift, giving it Mitsubishi identity. -- Last edit: 2019-03-18 22:58:24 |

I don't think the 2.0 is a hybrid, it's just a regular petrol engine.
