Isn't this just a rip off of the Isuzu TF?
|
||
Added last so that the whole thing was completed when it went to the last completed list. Unless you are still not seeing it?? I am.
Some dispute over the engine size. I've seen 276, 285 and 300 all quoted for the demonstration car used by the company. It's a Subaru Impreza Turbo motor so it is modifiable. -- Last edit: 2011-05-30 16:29:46 |

That's ridiculous.
I had to actually check it was not a badge engineered version. |
||
Having checked it is that.
I didn't pay that much (I think £20 or £25 as I bought it in a sale). Can't find the bloody thing though. I always used to buy the bigger models like those but as they were expensive and kept getting broken I stopped. Indeed aside from a couple of cheap plastic police car models I haven't bought any models in the last few years ![]() |

No. Just a grey import from Japan.
Lots of Japan only market cars end up in the UK in that way. |

There is one of these though black and with boy racerish alloys that parks at the train station.
Used to see it most days when I went into work. |

Err it does: autos.msn.com/research/compare/exterior.aspx?c=0&i=0&tb=0&ph1=t0&ph2=t0&dt=0&v=t101998&v=t101908&v=t101962
Listed under exterior if it doesn't come up immediately. |

This is good for US market cars I have found: autos.msn.com/research/compare/AddCompare.aspx
Just pick your model year and trim. The only problem is that they seem to use imperial measurements. |

Crying shame really IMO. Not very many of these knocking around either.
You can usually find a ZT260 (c£5-6000 - I really should have a look when I have more money) but these are rarer than hen's teeth and you generally don't see them on sites like Autotrader. I doubt if more than a few hundred were made. |

Yes. Rover went bankrupt in 2005. There are some that were registered in 2006 and 2007 but these were made in 2004 and 2005 and registered much later. As a big thirsty car it was never going to sell quickly and easily.
Wikipedia says that the engine was introduced in 2003 (I'm not actually sure that is right) but those would have a different front and rear design. |
||
Mine too. I have the AutoArt(?) 1/18 model that is just like the one for the front image.
I also had the yellow Impreza Turbo from the same series. For races. ![]() |

The car in these pictures sold at auction for 400,000 Euros.

BLS = Bit Like SAAB
![]() Now something of a used car bargain in the UK. |

The cheapest car on sale at the UK at the time.

Missed out the fact the CTS-V Coupe was unveilled at Detroit 2010 in the presentation field

Was originally <2011 sold as Adrenaline (or Adrenaline Motor Sport) Murtaya.
|

I like it... Not seen it before as only their convertible models are sold here

Missed the dash from the name by mistake.

I prefer the Series II and Series III if I'm honest... Nicer fronts as that grill doesn't work for me.

Remind you of anything? |

Note: The two motors I added are the ones available from the company that builds the complete cars. As it's available (mainly) as a kit car Ive also listed motor to choose as the third motor as it is impossible to state all the possible options. I've seen a diesel one and I think someone has made an electric powered one.
The two factories are the place where the fully built cars are made (by a company named Road Track Race) and the location of the main MEV company. |
||
Oh god! They have made it even worse!
|
||
The name here was Racing Puma or Puma Racing IIRC.
|
||
Note: Wiki lists a 6 speed automatic as the only available auto box but Vauxhall's UK site lists a 5 speed for the 1.6 and doesn't show the other gearbox as available with engines other than the 2.0 diesel.
I don't trust the weight figure I've added which is why I stopped adding it on the engines I added last. I think it is just for the non-turbo 1.4 models. |
Would Frankfurt 2011 be right to put as the presentation? That is when the car is officially unveilled BUT we have the pictures and specifications known already?
