Honestly wouldn't be surprised if we see this offered outside of China as a Chevrolet in the near future. Looks like a good candidate for a Venture nameplate revival

Pretty cool looking dashboard, but on the outside, it looks like a Kia Telluride knock-off, with a little Jeep Renegade up front.

I've been thinking...are this and the Dacia Spring truly different enough to be listed as Chinese and Romanian origin, respectively, compared to the French Renault Kwid that both are directly based on?

This should probably be set back as 2015-Present, as this generation is still in production as the RAM 1500 Classic.
This would just be referring to the generation in general, as the Classic is only available in Tradesman, Express, and Warlock trims, the trims listed here as -2018 moved over to the new generation. |

Apparently, there's a rumor going around saying that it's under consideration to take the 9X8 and make a Dodge branded version to run in IMSA.
|
||
The iX3 has already been confirmed NOT to be coming to the US or Canada, and is not listed on either country's website. Mexico, on the other hand, is a YES. It's listed on the country's BMW site as an upcoming model.

Supposedly, the chassis code for the next gen GC will be WL, though this L version might be different.
Also, it's supposedly built upon a stretched Giorgio platform, making four firsts for the platform: first long wheelbase variant, first non-Alfa Romeo use of the platform, first vehicle on the platform built outside of Italy (as it will be the first complete vehicle built in the repurposed Mack Avenue Complex), and first vehicle on the platform to offer a V8 engine. |

I wonder if anyone here can recognize what country plate that is in the front image, clearly it's not Japanese.
|
||
Anyone else notice the Michigan Manufacturer's Plate in the front image? Bit strange for a car that wasn't sold by Mitsubishi in the US (as Mitsubishi didn't sell the Mirage in the US themselves until the second gen in '85, before that Mirages were only sold in the US as captive imports by Dodge/Plymouth).

Hmm...is it just me, or do the taillights look like pre-facelift Cadillac XTS taillamp units, but upside down?

New for the 2021 model year, the Wrangler Rubicon 392, the most powerful factory built Wrangler ever. Available 1st Quarter 2021, only to be offered in the 4-door Unlimited form, no 2-door models will be built.

For those who don't know...this is based on the RAM 1500.

Probably one of Mitsuoka's best product ever released, mainly because it took the Mira Gino, which was styled after the original Mini, and basically put a front end on it that emulates the Wolseley Hornet/Riley Elf, which were based on the Mini. It's almost perfect.

Love how this car has Fiat 500 taillights on it.

Sales are supposed to start on the 28th, dealers already have new TLXs listed on their websites. I even found one with images of it at the dealer.
www.acuraofwestchester.com/vehicle-details/new-2021-acura-tlx-tech-19UUB6F57MA001083 So, if the dealers already have them before the intended sale date, could this already be moved out of the Upcoming Cars section? |
||
Not as long as the production 2nd gen NSX did, though.

Following in the footsteps of the ACross, Suzuki is now introducing a new hybrid-only estate to their European lineup. Called Swace, it's basically a Suzuki badged version of the Euro-market Toyota Corolla Touring Sports Hybrid.

This will be the first Leon of any sort in the BTCC in a decade, IIRC. Very nice!

I like how, even though it's not related at all, this facelift brings the international market Odyssey in line, styling-wise, with the North American market Odyssey.
|

So, we're listing non-road legal side by side UTVs that aren't racing vehicles now? Interesting.

Since the 2019 model year, Nissan has offered a Rock Creek appearance package on the Pathfinder, available on the SV and SL trims.

While it does seem rather unusual for a vehicle like this, that's been hardly changed, aside from the drivetrain, since 2004, to get a new engine like this, but considering a completely redesigned Frontier is coming in the next year or so, it's actually a smart idea on Nissan's part, get any possible bugs and issues out of the way with the new engine now, that way there's less to worry about when the completely redesigned model arrives.

I first thought was 'who put a BMW nose on an HSV Maloo, then made it a targa?'

Shouldn't the Hybrid model get it's own page? The front and rear bumpers are quite different than the normal Sonata.
|
||
Now THAT is unusual. I mean, the Grand Caravan name has never been associated with the Chrysler brand...why the sudden use as such? Probably would have made more sense to slap a crosshair grille and Dodge badges on it if they were gonna have the nameplate carry on, for proper brand recognition.
|
||
Amazing how they've been able to continually rework a platform that dates back to 1987 and build new cars off of it without issue.
|
||
Basically a heavily reworked Peugeot 206 SD.
|
||
This should probably be changed to 2020, not 2021, as it's scheduled to go on sale in Japan in the second half of 2020, and actually went into production in May.

Interesting story about this concept. GM was looking to incorporate a Left-Hand Drive version of Holden's Commodore into the Buick lineup in the US, GM and Buick getting involved with the development of the VT Commodore.
This concept car was the result of it, after Holden was provided with the funds for necessary engineering changes. The project, called 'Project 127' was cancelled in early 1994, but Holden used what they learned from it, and not only did the styling of the XP2000 become the basis for the design of the VT, but also developed LHD versions of the VT for parts of mainland southeast Asia and the Middle East as the Chevrolet Lumina, and Brazil as the Chevrolet Omega. And, in the long term, eventually led to the development of the Pontiac GTO, G8, Chevrolet SS and Caprice for the US market, LHD versions of the VZ Monaro, VE Commodore, VF Commodore, and WM/WN Caprice, respectively...and possibly playing a part in the creation of the Opel Omega based Cadillac Catera. |
