Easily the best looking design Mitsuoka has ever made. LOVE the classic Corvette styling on the Miata body and chassis, it just works so well!

Apparently, Suzuki is going to be introducing a new SUV to their European lineup. Called the ACross, it's a plug-in hybrid that will sit above the Vitara...and is literally a Toyota RAV4 PHV with a Suzuki-exclusive front end and badging.

All Wheel Drive was made available for the pre-facelift Pacifica, starting in June, as the AWD Launch Edition package for Touring-L trim Pacificas, ahead of the 2021 model year facelift. So, it's an option for non-hybrid models (hybrids have only been offered in Premium and Platinum trims).

Like the larger Traverse, the Equinox's facelift has been delayed due to the ongoing pandemic. Now, it's planned to go on sale in early 2021 as a 2022 model.

So, pulled from Russia and no longer built in Indonesia. I take it that perhaps production of Indonesian models, if they're not discontinued, may shift to India, then?
I mean, most other Datsuns are currently built in both India and Indonesia, other than the Cross, which is Indonesian built only. -- Last edit: 2020-05-29 04:49:19 |

Well, the South American version of this has been unveiled. Also, this should be of Brazilian origin, as the official press release for it states the following:
'The new model has been developed by Volkswagen South America and will be manufactured initially at the Anchieta factory, in São Bernardo do Campo, SP, to be commercialized in the South American market. In a second moment, the model will be made also in Europe.' So, yeah. It's not German origin. |

Now this...this is what Acura needed! Fingers crossed that this can bring Acura back into brand relevancy, since most people these days only think NSX or maybe RDX when they think of the brand. Looks super sporty, and the Type-S revival looks like it's got plenty of potential.

And, as a note, since there's no technical data listed yet, this generation of Sienna will be hybrid only, in both FWD and AWD.
Will also be sold in the US market as the second generation Venza, which will be hybrid only.

Looks like the Espace, Scénic, and Talisman are likely on the chopping block in an attempt to cut down on recent losses. No specific word on the Grand Scénic, though. |

Not often does a concept car evolve into another concept car before eventually going into production. The Centieme is one of those rare examples. It's overall design was smoothed out and refined three years later as the Enclave concept, before itself went into production one year after that.
Concept predecessor to the 1992 Skylark redesign, though the production car's nose was a good bit different. The Skylark's 1996 facelift actually looked more like the Bolero in the front than the 92-95 models.
Shouldn't this technically be of German origin, since, even in concept form, it's still an Opel Insignia?
Gremlin with a Hornet nose (and unique grille) and a fastback body. Eventually, this concept became the main basis for the Spirit liftback.

So, interesting info that I just read. Not sure how many of you here know this, but apparently this, along with the Yema F10 and F12, are all based on the underpinnings of the old Austin Maestro.

And I guarantee you, trying to get all of the colors figured out will be a challenge, with trims having color options added over time or removed over time.
For example, the Sport trim added the option of Lunar Silver and White Diamond (not sure if Platinum White is just White Diamond renamed, or a replacement color) for the 2018 model year. There was also a Forest Mist Metallic offered in the US up to the 2019 model year, but removed from the Canadian market after the 2017 model year. Pacific Pewter basically replaced it for the 2020 model year. There's more info for each model year, both for the US and Canada, if you search hard enough. |

It's pretty much a Chevrolet badged MkI Vauxhall Cavalier with a Manta nose and lower displacement versions of Chevrolet's 153 4 cylinder.
Didn't this car go out of production completely in 2018?
Probably is the same engine, since they're supposed to replace the LPG Crown Comfort taxis that have been in use prior.
Yep, this and the Huanghai model of which this is a rebadged version of, are both Chinese unauthorized copies of the Ssangyong.
Here's a good question. Even though there isn't a specific Hong Kong availability option on here, should Toyota Comfort Hybrid still be added as an alternate model name, since that's what it's badged as there, imported from Japan?

Made some edits to this page. Changed origin to US (all Ford Edges are of US origin, technically, as listed on IMBDb, for example) and added Oakville, Ontario as the production site (all Edges sold globally are built there).
Should be of South Korean origin, not US. This concept, off of which the original Captiva was based off of, was designed by GM Daewoo's (now GM Korea) design center in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon.

I can now confirm that the new Versa is on sale in Mexico, where it's built. |

This updated 2021 Pacifica (no word on if the changes carry over to the new lower priced Voyager, which was just introduced for the 2020 model year) marks the return of all-wheel-drive as an option on a Chrysler minivan for the first time since the RS vans were discontinued.
This also gives the Toyota Sienna a bit more competition, as prior to this, the Sienna was the only minivan in the North American market that offered AWD. Also new with the Pacifica for 2021 is the introduction of a new high-end trim package, Pinnacle. I'd imagine it would largely be similar to the Elite trim on the Honda Odyssey, Limited Premium on the Sienna, and SX on the Kia Sedona. -- Last edit: 2020-02-07 05:37:01 |

I could see Sony and Magna teaming up with a Japanese automotive manufacturer to make this car a reality, though. Maybe a car like this could be the technological shot in the arm Nissan (which already has a close relationship with Sony through Gran Turismo) could use.
Apparently a lot of this concept was co-developed with Magna International. So, I guess this car is part Japanese, part Canadian.

It's been officially confirmed today that the North American market Regal will be discontinued after the 2020 model year, leaving Buick with a lineup of four crossover utility vehicles. The Regal will continue in China, though. That includes the GS and surprisingly decent selling TourX models.
Also, the LaCrosse still needs to be removed from current road cars, as that went out of production in North America back in February 15th of this year. |

Here's a good question. The ZR2 model is quite visually different than the standard Colorado, as well as only offering the diesel I4 and gas V6 powertrain options, should it be listed as a separate vehicle on here, like the various Camaros and Corvettes?
And don't forget the even more visually different looking ZR2 Bison, and the fact that the 2021 ZR2 will further separate itself from the standard Colorado. |

Production concluded, likely in March, like the sedan, but unlike the sedan, I haven't found a confirmed exact conclusion date.
